At Elbowbumpkid Inc we are making a difference in the lives of children impacted by Type 1 Diabetes and we need your help to continue this mission. We are writing you to ask for your support with our fall fundraiser.

Our Mission is to provide families with the opportunity to thrive despite their Type 1 Diabetes diagnosis. This is primarily accomplished through fundraising to provide families with the opportunity to attend diabetes educational events. There are over 2,500 children in Connecticut alone impacted by Type 1 Diabetes. Many can barely afford their monthly medical supplies and don’t’ have the resources to attend social and educational events that are critical to their physical, mental health and well-being. Being surrounded by their peers and learning from other families is imperative to their long-term success in managing the disease.

Our spring fundraiser will execute our mission and fund the opportunity for families to attend life-changing diabetes events, where children learn and make lifelong friendships. Parents will learn about new technology to help manage the disease, participate in support sessions and learn how to help their children live life to the fullest despite their diagnosis.
