On October 31, 2010, my little sister, Brynn Thornburgh, passed away due to liver failure at the young age of 26 years old. She had been on the liver transplant list for four years and at the time of her death was number one on the waiting list. Unfortunately, a suitable donor was not found. Our family created the Brynn Thornburgh Memorial Scholarship to help local high school seniors, whose family has struggles due to medical issues within the family. Birdies and Bogey’s ‘fore’ Brynn is the event that we created to raise funds for the Scholarship Fund. We are currently planning our 5th annual golf outing, auction and dinner, scheduled for Monday, July 27, 2015. The Birdies and Bogeys ‘fore’ Brynn golf outing will be held at the Twin Lakes Country Club, followed by raffles and silent auction.
