On October 31, 2010, my little sister, Brynn Thornburgh, passed away due to liver failure at the young age of 26 years old. She had been on the liver transplant list for four years and at the time of her death was number one on the waiting list. Unfortunately, a suitable donor was not found. Our family created the Brynn Thornburgh Memorial Scholarship to help local high school seniors, whose family has struggles due to medical issues within the family. Birdies and Bogey’s ‘fore’ Brynn is the event that we created to raise funds for the Scholarship Fund. We are currently planning our 10th annual golf outing, auction and dinner, scheduled for Friday, July 23, 2021. The Birdies and Bogeys ‘fore’ Brynn golf outing will be held at Evergreen Golf Course, in Elkhorn, WI, followed by dinner, raffles, and a silent auction.
With this being our 10th year, we would love to see it a year to make the biggest impact! Your generosity will help us to continue to provide scholarship opportunities for high school seniors in the Lake Geneva area. This month, we will be giving away even more scholarships in Brynn’s name (with 24 scholarships given in the past 9 years). Thank you for your support!
