BITSS2023 will be a 7 night, 8 day program for 30-40 individuals with a rare chromosomal disorder called Turner syndrome. Our participants are between the ages of 12-19. They will come to Boston from all over the US and other countries to share in a week of recreation, learning, personal growth, and connection. The week is incredibly important, as many of our participants are on the autism spectrum and have difficulties forming connections with peers. At BITSS, they form bonds with peers that often last a lifetime, and it's a place where they are free to be themselves without judgment or fear of rejection. They also learn life skills that help them grow in independence and confidence. Most importantly, they have fun. We stay in college dormitories, run on campus activities, and also tour local museums, historic sights, and other attractions.
