Black Tie and Tie Dye Benefit
Gala/Party for HealthRIGHT 360May 22, 2024 from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM
Founded by Dr. David Smith, HealthRIGHT 360's Haight Ashbury Medical Clinics (the first free clinic in the US!) opened its doors in San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury district in July of 1967. The clinic provided free medical care for the thousands of young people coming to San Francisco during the “Summer of Love” — many of whom were malnourished, homeless, and in need of medical attention.
This philosophy has expanded over the decades to incorporate whole-person care that gives hope to 40,000 Californians annually through a comprehensive family of programs that includes healthcare, dental services, housing placement, a food pharmacy, mental health counseling, and residential treatment for low-income and uninsured individuals in 11 California counties.
To celebrate our 57 years of providing healthcare and human services to California's most vulnerable populations, we'll be hosting our annual Black Tie and Tie Dye Benefit on May 22nd at Bimbo's 365 Club in San Francisco. Black Tie and Tie Dye is a San Francisco tradition benefitting thousands of low-income clients and people experiencing homelessness who turn to us each year for nonjudgmental, compassionate health care. Our theme this year is “We Love San Francisco", where we will be serving hearty hors d’oeuvres from the cultural cuisines that make up our diverse neighborhoods. This will be the 10th anniversary of this enchanting evening that features live music, DJ dancing, cocktails, mocktails, a fashion show, and many surprises.
