Black Tie & Blue Jean Extravaganza
Gala/Party for The Bellin Health Foundation, Inc.Sep 15, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM
The Bellin Health Foundation hosts an annual fundraising event called The Black Tie and Blue Jean (BTBJ) Extravaganza. This is the only fundraising event hosted by any entity within the Bellin Health system – servicing Northeast Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Funds raised from the event supports a different Bellin or Bellin-adjacent program or service each year, decided upon by the BTBJ committee based on current Bellin system priorities. These funds also sometimes serve as the seed money for new programs and services.
Now held in the Lambeau Field Packer Atrium, this extravaganza features music, dancing, a gourmet seated dinner, a live auction, raffles and a complimentary photo opportunity. Funds are raised through major sponsorships, table sponsorships, in-kind donations, ticket sales, auctions and raffles. Supporters include Bellin corporate partners, private individuals, foundations, Bellin physicians, staff and board members. Besides providing needed financial support back to Bellin, this event provides a valuable engagement opportunity for the entire Bellin family and the community it serves.
In his State of the State Address, Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers declared 2023 as “The Year of Mental Health.” As we emerge from the worldwide pandemic, mental health conditions were massively exacerbated. Global prevalence of anxiety and depression increased by more than 25% during the pandemic. As such, we are raising funds to support the Bellin Psychiatric Center Gymnasium remodel and outdoor courtyard. The case for support highlighting the recipient and the huge community need this fundraising effort meets can be found at: https://blacktieandbluejean.com/recipient
We are requesting a donation to the raffle for 4 day passes.
