Description

The Reconciliation & Restoration Foundation facilitates an annual conference, titled Black Women in Philanthropy, as we saw a need for conversations about Black Women's role in philanthropy and how we are philanthropists, often without acknowledging our contribution and impact. While the main goal was to have a conversation to discuss the state of black women in philanthropy, we have found these events create a safe space for Black Women nonprofit leaders to rejoice in their successes, lament the obstacles, and network with others who walk their same journey. Overall, we want BWiP to be a catalyst for communal change amongst Black Women.
