The 39th Annual Bloomington Mite Hockey Jamboree will be held at the Bloomington Ice Garden (BIG) on Thursday through Sunday, March 2nd to March 5th.  The Jamboree is co-sponsored by the Jefferson and Bloomington Girls Mite Hockey organizations.  The Jamboree is for (4) four through (9) nine-year-old mite hockey players (boys and girls) from Bloomington, Richfield, New Prague, Shakopee, Prior Lake, Savage, Burnsville, Wayzata, Minnetonka, Eden Prairie, Edina, Waconia and other nearby communities.  The Jamboree gives them an opportunity to “show off” their skating and hockey skills they have been working on all season. The games played at the Jamboree are the highlight of the season as many teams don’t focus on games at their respective levels as much as basic skill development.
