Blue Jean Bingo
Online Auction for NAMI Southeast WisconsinMay 06, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM
NAMI Southeast Wisconsin's Blue Jean Bingo is a fun and entertaining event that consists of classic Bingo games, prizes, a large silent, a robust voice auction and a wine pull. The goal of this event is to raise funds and awareness for those affected by mental health conditions in our community and their loved ones. The proceeds from Blue Jean Bingo will be used to support NAMI Southeast Wisconsin’s support, education, and advocacy programs that offered free of charge to individuals and families affected by mental health conditions.
This year, we're excited to have our community back together in-person at the Brookfield Conference Center on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 5:00-9:00 pm Silent auction and voice auction donors will be acknowledged at the event and on our mobile biding software. Additionally, donations can be recognized on our social media sites and email list and will be thanked in our quarterly newsletter that is distributed to more than 3,700, and countless others via our social media reach.
NAMI Southeast Wisconsin inspires the hope of recovery and deepens the understanding of mental health conditions for individual, families, and communities.
As of January 1, 2021, with the merger of NAMI Waukesha and NAMI Greater Milwaukee, we are now NAMI of Southeast Wisconsin, serving Jefferson, Milwaukee and Waukesha counties. As a nonprofit organization, our purpose is to provide help to those affected by mental illness. Since 1978, we've worked to improve the understanding of mental health conditions and share the hope of recovery by offering information, support, education, and advocacy services. We strive to enlighten the public with the goal of erasing the stigma, guilt, shame, fear, ignorance, and discrimination that negatively impacts the lives of people affected by mental illness.
We offer support groups, educational classes, Chapter 51 court support and advocacy, support and advocacy for individuals applying for disability benefits, homeless outreach, one-on-one support/education, monthly educational meetings, and current information on legislation pertinent to mental health. All of our evidence-based, signature programs are offered at no charge to the participants!
NAMI WI is a different nonprofit organization and any funds donated to them will not support our local affiliate that actually provides the services in Milwaukee, Waukesha and Jefferson counties.
