The event is designed to increase literacy and a joy for reading among elementary students. Families are invited to play Bingo. The event is free to attend and the families can win age-appropriate books. Every child will leave with at least one book. Families will be offered free bottled water and popcorn. Food will be available for purchase to support the 5th grade's class trip to science camp. There will be a large silent auction. We are looking for donations for the silent auction. Money raised from the auction is used to pay for assemblies, library books, technology, art classes, awards for student scholars, etc. We would also like items that can be given to families in attendance (SWAG).
