What is Wishes, Wonders and Kids?
A group of energetic people from North Texas who believe that fundraising does not have to be boring, so we find fun ways to raise money and celebrate together.

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and we donate 100% of our funds, after operating expenses, to Make-A-Wish® and to help local children with special needs.

We believe it’s bigger than just a wish - the wondrous part is the ripple effect - the lasting impact it makes on that child, his/her parents, siblings, extended family, and all of us. It inspires all who are touched by the wish to do even more to support children and families who are facing life-threatening illnesses.

Who does our fundraising benefit? Information below is from www.makeawish.org website. “Wishes make life better for kids with life-threatening medical conditions. This simple but powerful belief inspired the founding of Make-A-Wish® and drives everything we do.”

Tens of thousands of volunteers, donors and supporters advance the Make-A-Wish® vision to grant the wish of every child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition. In the United States and its territories, on average, a wish is granted every 37 minutes. We believe a wish experience can be a game-changer. This one belief guides us and inspires us to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids we serve.

Make-A-Wish Foundation of America is an Arizona nonprofit corporation exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.

What does Wishes, Wonders and Kids do to raise money?

−  Hosted this year at Belar Farms, a local horse ranch located in a beautiful, wooded setting
−  Catered by Chef Morris Salerno Jr., Owner and head chef of Bistecca – an Italian steakhouse in Highland Village
−  Dancing and Live music by Jolie & Sonny Burgess
−  Silent and Live Auctions
