Description

San Jose Parent Participating Nursery School will be hosting the "Boots and Bids" Benefit Auction on evening of March 15th, 2025 at CH11 Cellars, located in San Jose, California. The evening will be a wonderful night for families, friends and Alumni of the school to celebrate and raise money for the amazing school and students.

SJPPNS was founded in 1951 by a group of dedicated moms and dads. We are a cooperative nursery school, administered and maintained by parents. Each class is directed by a credentialed teacher/director experienced in early childhood education and development. Required in-class parent participation ensures a high adult-to-child ratio, as well as low monthly tuition. All aspects of the preschool are run by parent volunteers including fundraising, janitorial, administration and teaching support.

At SJPPNS, we believe in the individuality of children. Through a play-based curriculum, parents and teachers facilitate our students’ social, cognitive and physical growth in a safe, trusting environment. The donations received from our Benefit Auction will help to refurbish our classroom cabinets, improving safety for little hands and enhancing the organization of essential learning materials. In years past, it has helped us purchase new playground equipment, install a new roof and pay for exterior paint. With this year's money we are also hoping to update the kitchen, which parents use to make healthy snacks for the children during inside free play time. Additionally, our auction helps keep tuition low to support families financially.
