Description

I am writing to you on behalf of an organization that is near and dear to my heart; the Fort Wood Community Spouses' Club located at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, the state's largest military installation. I am currently the public relations chair for the club and have sat on the board for the past three years. The Fort Wood Community Spouses' Club serves military affiliated spouses within all branches, retirees, and members of the Fort Leonard Wood community. Our mission is to provide fun and fellowship, while giving back to the community. As part of our "giving back to the community" we hold an Annual Auction where local businesses donate to our organization in support of our Philanthropic Community Outreach Grants and Scholarships. Since 2019 our Auction has been "on hold" and smaller stage events have occurred. We are so excited to bring back our large-scale event this year with 200 guests bidding on items in support of our mission. Donations mean the world to us, as any sales garner increased funds we can award during our Grants and Scholarship cycle; where we give back to those impacting our military community, supporting our families and striving to better themselves and their families through higher education. You are "local" to us in that many of our community members strive to get away from "Fort Lost in the Woods" and letting them see what Missouri and our surroundings have to offer is great motivation to enjoy their time here in our Show Me State. You may wish to find out more from our organization and can do so here; www.fwcsc.org
Any support or donation would be appreciated, and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
