On behalf of the staff, parents, and students of Good Shepherd Catholic School in Garland, Texas, we are requesting your support for our upcoming auction “Boots & Bling” on April 20, 2024.  Of all the good causes you are asked to support, we respectfully request that you consider making a donation towards ours. It is because of generous donors like you that we are able to maintain high standards of academic excellence that benefit all students.

We are a self-supporting, coeducational, non-profit school which has offered an exemplary education to students in     Pre-K through eighth grade for more than 65 years. We currently have 214 students enrolled in our school. More than 60% qualify for the Free and Reduced Lunch Program.  We serve a minority population of low-income Hispanic children with English as their second language.  Our school struggles to support their needs. 

The evening event brings our school community together while raising money to support our operating budget and special initiatives that will enhance and support our curriculum, athletic programs, facilities, and faculty. Each year we include live and silent auctions at the event to raise funds for the school to continue its commitment to superior education. The purpose of this letter is to ask you to join Good Shepherd School in these efforts.

We expect about 250 guests at our event.  We will acknowledge your contribution throughout our auction festivities, in our program and in pre-auction publicity. We put up a large THANK YOU bulletin board that stays up for weeks to recognize our supporters.

We would appreciate receiving a sponsorship from your business for our event. This gift will allow us to raise the needed funds to meet our goal of providing the best possible opportunities for our students.  Your gift will make a difference in the education we can offer our students.
