Description

For over 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters have been making a meaningful difference in the lives of at-risk boys and girls through our organization’s well known and highly respected community-based mentoring programs.  The mentoring experience can become a life-changing relationship built on friendship, trust, and empowerment.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Wellington will be holding our annual fundraising event – Bowl for Kids Sake 2024.  We cover a large rural area and thus have three separate community bowling days occurring on February 4 (Minto/Mapleton community), February 25 (Mount Forest community), and March 3, (Arthur/Alma community). This year, as part of our incentive to raise more money, and as a way of saying thank you to our participants, we are reaching out to various businesses/attractions/experiences and ask if they would be willing to donate a pair of tickets, family pass or item to our event.  This donation, needed prior to the first February bowling date of February 4, would then be used in a random draw to be held on March 5 (after our last bowling day) from those individuals who have raised the required amount of money to enter (every $50 raised = 1 ballot and chance to win)
