Habitat Bowl2Build Bowlathon is an annual fundraising event to bring awareness and raise funds to build affordable houses for low-income families. Each year we host the Bowl2Build bowling event to bring businesses, organizations, and individuals together, have fun, bowl a few games and win trophies for the overall top score. There is a raffle table and a silent auction which unique items donated by businesses, this assists Habitat in raising additional funds for the Homeownership Program and the opportunity to build more affordable homes. The AMF Galaxy West, 1818 SW 17th Street Ocala is filled with several teams and all lanes are occupied. This year's theme is Jurassic Bowl, the bowling alley will transform into Jurassic Park & World. There will be two special guests that stop by to visit all the bowlers. Elvis The T-Rex - is an 8-foot life-like dinosaur that will dominate the alley and visit with each team for pictures and Tri-Sarah, a baby tricerotops. The cost is $35 per bowler or a team of 6 for $140, each bowler will get bowling shoes, two games, an event shirt, and great chances to win cool items from the raffle and silent auction table. Donation items are accepted, the donor will be recognized on social media, web pages, flyers, during the event, logo or name on the back of the event shirt, name and logo on the donated item, and depending on the value of the item, a donor could be the sponsor of a Habitat home. Any and all donations are appreciated, 100% of the proceeds will be used to build affordable homes for low-income families
