Many Mansions’ mission is to provide quality affordable rental housing in Southern California, and services that encourage our residents to thrive. With a special focus on low-income families and individuals, seniors, veterans, people with disabilities, and those who are formerly homeless, we build housing stability and pathways out of poverty for the most underserved populations. As a leading provider of affordable housing in the Greater Los Angeles area, and the largest provider of Permanent Supportive Housing in Ventura County, Many Mansions is a significant player in regional efforts to move the needle on the affordable housing crisis in Southern California. With a focus on increasing the supply of and access to housing and services for low-income households, we advance durable solutions that catalyze lasting generational change.

Bowls of Hope is Many Mansions’ largest annual fundraiser – supporting our social services. This community gathering raises awareness of homelessness and lack of affordable housing in Southern California. It is a well-known event, in its 20th year, and well-attended by community leaders, government officials, and the public. Dignitaries, such as Ventura County Board of Supervisors, Mayors, and community business leaders will serve soup to guests to replicate and humanize a soup kitchen experience. Designed as an educational event, Bowls of Hope will feature various educational elements (e.g., video exhibitions, trivia); service projects; and other informative and engaging activities for attendees.
