The BPO Diversity Council, a group of community leaders and Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra musicians and staff, was founded in 2016 formalizing the BPO’s longstanding commitment to present diverse programming, support artists of color, and engage with every part of the WNY community in a meaningful way. We are proud to ensure that there is an open door to everyone at the BPO.

It is in this spirit that we would like to open the doors for patrons to experience other arts and cultural organizations in Buffalo through our Opening Doors Raffle. This fundraiser will feature a raffle that takes place throughout the fall season where tickets for raffle packages will be available at select BPO concerts. 

Funds raised through the Opening Doors Raffle will support the BPO’s mission in diversifying the orchestral field through programs, partnerships, education, and practice, in addition to many more public outreach efforts made by the BPO’s education department.
