We are a local charity based in Hendersonville, TN started in 2013 by then 10-year-old Hannah Grubbs.  We provide bows, ballcaps, other accessories, and care packages to kids who have lost their hair from cancer treatments or alopecia.  Hannah has been bald since she was one-year-old from alopecia, and she wanted to help other kids be comfortable and confident being bald.  We have given out more than 25,000 bows and ballcaps in our nine short years and have grown to ten partner hospitals across seven states.  And we are still growing!

On Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 8:30am-1pm, BOWS & BALLCAPS will host the longstanding Hendersonville event, Breakfast with Santa at Bluegrass Country Club.  This event annually attracts more than 400 local residents for a buffet breakfast, craft tables, entertainment and of course… photos with Santa.  This is still the largest fundraiser of the year for BOWS & BALLCAPS.  It enables us to fund our hospital programs for the coming year, and it will also be a toy drive for kids who will wake up on Christmas morning at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.  Last year, we collected more than 1,000 toys for the hospital!
