Description

We will be having a Breakfast with Santa event scheduled for December 10, 2023. With Christmas right around the corner, we were hoping you might be able to donate a gift basket or tickets, anything that we could use for families to bid on and in turn, put that money towards our two fundraising goals (explained below). Especially at this time of year, parents and families are looking for unique gift ideas and this would be perfect!

At this event, typically attended by about 250 of our students and families, we auction off tickets,  gift cards, merchandise, and services generously donated. This event’s proceeds will help pay for our fundraising initiatives this year. We have two fundraising goals this year. Our first is to create an outdoor classroom for the kids to learn. This includes tables, a covering, and materials that they can use outside. The second is an initiative to beautify the school as it is our 20th anniversary this school year. We plan to give the building a facelift and plant flowers and several other things to get the school (inside and out) to look as good as it did (if not better) 20 years ago. Anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated to bid on. Should you make a donation for the silent auction, your business will be recognized on auction displays at the event as well as in the school newsletter.

I can send you our 501C letter and can provide anything else you might need. We will also provide a donation receipt letter with the PTO’s tax exempt ID number for your records. If you have any questions or need further information, please contact me at (224) 523-1345 or at deruntzt@gmail.com. On behalf of the students, parents, and faculty of Algonquin Lakes, thank you for your consideration!

Sincerely,
