About Supportive Housing Communities (SHC) and Our Mission

Supportive Housing Communities (SHC) is a Charlotte-based nonprofit dedicated to providing affordable, permanent housing for the most vulnerable homeless individuals and families in our community. We don’t just give people a place to live—we also ensure they have the ongoing support needed to succeed. Each household is assigned a dedicated caseworker who helps them maintain their housing and access critical services, ultimately leading to long-term stability and success.

Brewers Ball and Our Fundraising Goals

This year marks the second annual Brewers Ball, and we are thrilled to build on the success of last year’s event. Our inaugural Brewers Ball exceeded expectations, we raised an incredible $61,000. We are so proud of the support we received in our first year and are excited to set our sights on an even greater goal for this year: $125,000. These funds will help us address the funding gap caused by Federal HUD funding freezes and allow us to continue providing critical housing and support services to those in need.
