Description

Bridgeswork is a non-profit organization that was established in 2012. Our mission is to support children in their academic growth and service to others, allowing them to identify their future dreams and build bridges to move from those dreams to reality. We offer academic growth, character development, service opportunities, and practical activities through two-week summer and monthly Saturday sessions. Our program serves over 170 students ranging from grade 1 to post-high school. We have 20-25 certified teachers who help lead and mentor our students, providing them with hope and motivation.

We are currently seeking donations for our annual Trivia Night, which is our main fundraiser of the year. Our financial goal for this event is $80,000.  Support for our programs comes entirely from individual donor gifts and contributions.  Currently, our operating budget for 2024 is $90,000.

We would appreciate any donation to add to our Trivia Night Fundraiser. The event provides attendees with food and drink with ticket purchases. We offer live and silent auction items, a $25 gift card table to purchase donated gift cards, and several rounds of competitive trivia. The theme of this year's event is Crayons to Career, which will highlight our students' achievements from first grade to post-graduation.

We aim to introduce our program and youth to new attendees and current donors. We want to showcase the positive character attributes of our youth that often go unnoticed. Moreover, it is an opportunity for adults to offer jobs or mentor our youth in a variety of potential career pathways.

Many parents have expressed their appreciation for our program, which not only prepares their children for a better future but also motivates them to strive for more. We are glad to hear that our efforts have been making a positive impact on the lives of families who have placed their trust in us by bringing joy and satisfaction.

A donation from your organization will be visible to every guest at our event digitally and in printed form.

Thank you, in advance, for your consideration of our organization.
