Each year, our Chapter honors outstaning leaders in the areas of business, community relations, education and health.
Our event recognizes pheonomenal Women and girls who positively impact their community, personify self-esteem, self-respect and continues to an inspiration to girls everywhere.
In true High-Tea style, guests will arrive in high fashion an dine on an assortment finger sandwiches, cookies and Tea. This celebration will recognize several phenomenal Women and one (1) Golden Girl for their contributions that have enriched all of our lives and distingushed themselves within our communities. Their work exemplifies our organization's vision as a force for gender equity, our mision for advocating for leadership development and our values of living and modeling are critical to the success of Women and girls of color.
Our goal is to raise $100,000 for our Chapter's programs, espacially; (1) Doris Ward Workforce Development and Job Training Programs; (2) Sister-Nomic$, financial education and empowerment programs for the unbanked and underbanked and (3) "Saving the Dream": African-American Rites of Passage, a youth empowerment program for underserved girls of color in San Francisco.
