Bring on the Fun Comedy Night will raise funds to support our yearly Special Needs Prom. This event was initiated by the high school seniors at Northern Valley Demarest High School. As educators we look to create equality in educational and vocational needs, however often over look the importance of something like the senior prom. The typical teens at the high school recognised this void and in 2014 formed a committee to host the first ACCESS Valley Prom. It has only gotten better with time. The dance is held in a fancy catering hall much like a typical prom only with adjustments made to lighting and volume to make the evening less stimulating. This evening is often the highlight of the year for all that participate including staff and all students with or without disabilities.
