The event is being hosted by a young lady with Down syndrome. It is expected to draw between two and three hundred attendees, primarily composed of college football season ticket holders, community leaders, and athletes ranging in age from 21 to 68. The event's main attraction is a silent auction, which participants will bid on to win various items. 

Since 2016 we've also raised money with our "Britt's Bids for Kids" event and silent auction. We aid children with cancer, sickle cell disease, and other hematologic and oncologic diseases. In addition to battling illness, these children face homelessness, food insecurity, and more. These children have been overlooked and have fallen through the cracks. 
We purchase shoes, school clothing, and backpacks. We assist underprivileged children in registering for sports and extracurricular activities. 

Last year 25 of our families enjoyed a Thanksgiving meal together, and for a few hours, all their worries were replaced with laughter and full bellies. Each year we are reminded of the joy and excitement that Christmas and Hannukah bring, especially to children. Unfortunately, the financial strain for some families makes providing gifts for their kids impossible. That's why we make it our mission each year to grant gift list wishes for children who would not otherwise receive anything. We may not have the same resources as larger organizations, but our passion and commitment to our mission drive us forward. We believe that every effort, no matter how small, can make a difference.
