Description

I am reaching out on behalf of Operation Charlie Bravo, a veteran non-profit created to assist those veterans suffering from PTSD, TBI and depression. Our programs are designed to always be a safe space for Veterans to interact together learning, teaching, building, and bonding stress free surrounded by individuals that signed the same dotted line.  We are hosting our 7th annual BroRide in June to raise funding for our veteran programs. We are requesting a pair of tickets to be part of our auction to raise additional funding.  All of our donors receive posts on social media, event recognition and if they donate $500 or more, their name is on the back of our event shirts.  This event brings in 300 plus bikes annually plus hundreds of other attendees.

The specific programs we are raising funds for at this event are...

The Blaster Program is a service offered that aims to fill the needs of the less fortunate veterans within the program with materials, parts or potentially a vehicle. We have partnerships with dealerships and mechanics to do the work at a reduced cost.  The vehicle program allows veterans to have an affordable car they can own and insure and get to and from work.  We are raising more towards growing this program. This will allow us to assist veterans in need of repairs on their personal vehicles to ensure that their vehicles are safer and operational.

The on Your Feet Program was launched to assist veterans and their families with providing the basic necessities such as clean running water, working heating and air-conditioning, and more without any judgement. This program has seen a huge need due to Covid and the current state of the economy.

For the Jam program we will be purchasing additional chairs/benching, musical instruments and materials. With the increase of new veterans and volunteers for this program, we are requesting funds to expand our current program offerings to include even more veterans. This program is looking to also be able to play several “gigs”.  This would allow more exposure for the organization overall to a whole new genre of people and new funding sources.

Overall building repairs, we are in desperate need of repairs to our building, so we will be raising funds to make some repairs as well.
