Description

What if you were able to help a child achieve his/her dream by providing educational excellence in a diverse environment that prepares each student to be a productive global citizen in today's world? This is what Brookview Montessori School does every day in every classroom with every student. Our upcoming fundraiser provides tuition assistance to many young people. Situated in Benton Harbor, Michigan, a city where the median income is just over $17,000, Brookview Montessori School seeks your support so that more students can benefit from a high quality Montessori education.

As the area's only independent private school, Brookview offers a personalized approach to education that goes beyond math and language. Our students, who represent 18 different countries, are led by their natural curiosity as they discover the subjects that inspire them, develop critical thinking skills, explore new cultures, and gain respect for one another and their environment. Two-year-olds speak Spanish and students ages 4-6 perform complicated math calculations with the binomial cube. "They are empowered to do for themselves and for others," as the parents say.

Brookview provides tuition assistance that helps provide this rich educational experience to families who could not otherwise afford it. We wish to continue this program, and hope to expand it to offer scholarships to more children by raising funds through our annual spring Wishing Tree Dinner and Auction on March 10th. This major fundraising evening includes both silent and live auctions of items donated to the school and created by our students. Our goal is to raise $55,000. Guests at this event travel the world and contribute heavily to their communities, and your name will be highly visible in the variety of venues listed below.

Please, would you consider donating an appealing experience or item to our event? All contributions directly support educational excellence for students, and are greatly appreciated.
