Description

2025 has certainly had a rocky start. We hope, as the year continues, that things will begin to improve.

Our annual gala is coming up. It is hard to think about a celebration during times like this. However,

Burbank Temporary Aid Center still needs to meet the needs of the community. Many in our

community will suffer employment loss as a result of businesses and productions closing or destroyed.

And we know that as those who have been displaced begin to rebuild their lives, many will find a new

home in Burbank. They, too, may need to turn to BTAC for assistance, and BTAC will need the resources

for the growing and continuing needs.

So, with this in mind, we are asking you to support our efforts, as we take a moment to honor the

Burbank Police Department, The Burbank Police Officers Association with Burbank’s Top Award for

Citizenship and present long-time volunteer, Peg Setti with BTAC’s Volunteer Legacy Award.

We need your help in gathering some very special and unique items to be used in the silent and live

auctions and opportunity baskets. Our guests always enjoy these activities, and they are important to

the success of our event.

We would like to invite you to support BTAC’s efforts with a gift basket, auction item, gift card or even a

90 point+ bottle of wine. The enclosed form will provide additional information.

BTAC is a local social service organization helping families and individuals struggling to make ends meet.

BTAC’s services are for both those with housing and those who are unhoused. Services include

groceries, bill assistance, showers and laundry, and referrals to other organizations. But perhaps most

importantly, BTAC provides a sense of hope and belonging for those who pass through our doors.

Not only will you support the important work BTAC provided the community over the years, but ensure

those services continue in the coming years.
