My Name is Matthew Canada. I am a representative of Buccaholics Illinois (Unofficial Chapter) of Buccaholics. Buccaholics originally started in California 2015 and the purpose of the Buccaholics is to create a safe and fun family friendly environment for fans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at away games. Buccaholics has expanded to official chapters in the United States as well as globally with chapters in Mexico, United Kingdom, and Canada. Buccaholics is an official 501(C) (3) not for profit organization helping give back to individual families and charity. Within the last two years we have raised over $6,000 for families and our desired Annual Charity.
Our current charity is the Sjögren's Foundation. Sjögren's syndrome is a systemic disease, affecting the entire body, symptoms may remain steady or worsen overtime. Sjögren's is often misrepresented as a rare disease, however it is estimated that there are four million Americans living with this disease, making it one of the most prevalent autoimmune diseases.
The reason I am writing to your organization is to ask for your assistance in our cause. Buccaholics Illinois is in the process of becoming an official chapter of Buccaholics. We will be holding a raffle to assist with the startup monies to become official. I am asking if your organization would be willing to make a donation to our cause of any items you deem appropriate for this type of event. Please note that any amount earned over the startup fees will then be donated to the Sjogren’s Foundation. Your organization and your donated items will be promoted throughout the entire Buccaholics Fan Family of over 19, 000 members
