On April 22, 2022, the Chicago Engineers’ Foundation (CEF) presents Building Chicago, a fundraising event to benefit programming for Chicago’s future engineers.  The mission of the Chicago Engineers’ Foundation is to encourage and empower young people to become the next generation of engineers through scholarship opportunities, outreach to educational institutions, and promoting interest in engineering careers.  Last year CEF awarded nearly $100,000 in scholarships to Chicago students, and impacted more than 1,500 K-12 students through virtual outreach and career development activities.    

Building Chicago brings together more than 100 community members and young professionals for a fun and engaging evening at the Union League Club of Chicago.  This year’s event features a brick building competition for guests to go head-to-head building iconic Chicago structures, along with a cocktail reception, paddle raise, and premium silent auction.
