We are currently organizing our First Annual Bull and Shrimp Feast for Friday, March 16, 2018. We plan to have a 50/50 raffle, silent auction, a plant/cake wheel, two number boards and door prizes.

The reason for our fundraiser this year is to raise money to help cover the costs to send our high school youth to the ELCA National Youth Gathering that is being held in Houston, Texas on June 27-July 1, 2018. This year we plan to send 10 kids and 4 adult chaperones. We also have 5 young adults who are serving as volunteers at the Gathering.

Every three years, 30,000 high school youth and their adult leaders from across the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America gather for a week of faith formation known as the Gathering. Through days spent in interactive learning, worship, Bible study, service and fellowship, young people grow in faith and are challenged and inspired to live their faith in their daily lives.
