Community Nursing Services of North East has been providing care to community members since 1920.  The agency's mission is to help people remain in their homes by providing home health, hospice and personal care.

This annual Butterfly Release is part of Community Nursing Services of North East's bereavement program.  Butterflies are free for those who want to honor their loved ones.  The agency is also hosting a gift auction on the same day.  This will be the third year for the gift auction to raise money to be used to provide comfort items for hospice patients and provide subsidized care to community members.  Some community members are able to receive personal care for as little as $9.00/hour.
