On Saturday evening, May 18, 2019, Cabrillo National Monument Foundation will celebrate our 5th Annual "Cabrillo Under the Stars". If you have missed this event in prior years, it is a well-attended, fun-filled evening.  Attendees will enjoy local fare from popular restaurants and craft beer/wines provided by local brewers/vintners. Of course, the ability to enjoy the Park "after hours" with its spectacular sunsets and night-time views of the lights of San Diego and the Bay is a rare treat for anyone.

Cabrillo Under the Stars is the Foundation's largest fundraiser each year. The money raised by this event is used to support Cabrillo National Monument's historical, educational, scientific and interpretive programs. This year's proceeds will support programs such as the Cabrillo Community Outreach Initiative (a program which takes the Park's science and educational programs into the communities where underserved children live), EcoLogik (a science and technology summer camp specifically targeting underserved girls) and Conservation + Comics (a new youth program centered around art and conservation efforts).  Without the funding provided by the Foundation through events such as Cabrillo Under the Stars, the Park could not sustain these types of impactful youth programs.

We ask for your support in meeting our fundraising goals.  Becoming a sponsor of the event is an excellent way to raise your profile in the community.
