BACIAA is a 501C3 non-profit organization that is focused on providing training and professional development opportunities for Crime & Intelligence Analysts throughout California. Our yearly conference is our main source of income and provides training, support, and scholarship opportunities to over 300 working analysts throughout the year. Our members are working Crime & Intelligence Analysts in the state of California who serve many roles within Law Enforcement agencies, including supporting criminal investigations, providing data to decision makers, and most importantly helping to keep the community and officers safe. Often analysts are the unseen conduit that link cases together and provide investigators with significant leads to help combat retail theft and burglary that affect many commercial businesses throughout the state. One example of the stellar investigative support that one of our members has provided to organizations is “Operation Pinch a Grinch” from the Hayward PD. In this operation, three sisters were charged with running a retail theft ring. When search warrants were served, more than $300,000 in suspected stolen merchandise from at least 18 retailers was recovered. We are accepting financial donations that will provide us the opportunity to purchase items for our conference, or in the form of donated goods or services for use at our conference. All donations will be used to raise funds through raffles or to offset the cost of providing gifts to conference attendees or speakers. Donated items will be graciously accepted and acknowledged in our conference materials and your company will receive a donor acknowledgement letter with our tax id.


We are also excited to announce an extraordinary partnership with the Tunnel to Towers Foundation https://tunnel2towers.org/ in recognition of the 20-year anniversary of the September 11th attacks. Half of the proceeds from this year’s raffles will be donated to Tunnel to Towers.
