Description

On May 23rd, 2018, our son, Cameron Nahf tragically lost his life in a car accident, just three days before he was set to graduate from Shoreland Lutheran Highschool, in Kenosha, WI. Cameron was a special young man; a talented athlete who had accepted an offer to play college baseball, a devoted son and older brother; a true friend to everyone he encountered. The void left by his passing cannot be filled, but out of this tremendous darkness have come countless stories of the impact Cameron’s kindness and spirit had on others. Through that energy we have created the Cameron Nahf Memorial Fund and Scholarship. The Cameron Nahf Memorial Fund aims to spark kindness, love and encouragement; just as Cameron always did.

We are hosting our fourth Cameron Nahf Memorial Golf Outing and Silent Action on Friday, June 24th, 2022. We feel that your organization would be a tremendous help towards making this event a success.  I am writing to inquire if you would consider donation to this year’s golf outing?

The outing will be held at Bristol Oaks Country Golf Club in Salem, WI. Our 400+ attendees include golfers, volunteers, and dinner/after-party guests, who generously support our fund and our son, from all around the NE Illinois and SW Wisconsin communities. Communications and sponsor/donor information is shared with our over 4,000 followers on social media as well.

Your organization can help by an in-kind donation (e.g., Gift certificates, products, tickets, swag, etc.) to be used in silent auction or raffle items. Our donors are recognized on our website and Facebook event page, as well as in printed materials at the event itself.  Additionally, we are more than happy to feature requested material provided by you alongside the professional layout of each item, which includes an upright display describing each item.

Funds raised from this event will be used to support student-selected special projects at Shoreland, Cameron's high school.  Our first multi-year fundraising goal is to add lights to the baseball field.  Additionally, we fund a $1,000 annual scholarship in Cameron’s name given to a student who embodies Cameron’s kindness and support of other classmates.

We thank you in advance for your donation and for your consideration. Visit website here Cameron Nahf Golf Outing or for any questions, please reach out directly to Lyndsay Nahf at lyndsaynahf@gmail.com or 262-308-2140. The Federal Employer Identification Number (EIN) for tax exemption for the foundation is 23-7140277. Donations can be sent to Lyndsay Nahf at 4423 109th St. Pleasant Prairie, WI. 53158 (we are happy to pay for shipping or arrange local pickup as well).  Attached are the event flyer and 501c3 letter.
