Our Annual Camp Jorn YMCA Golf Outing will take place on Friday, September 24th and will be held at Thunderhawk Golf Course in Beach Park, IL.  Cost to attend the event ranges from $250 per golf up to $3500 to sponsor.  This year the event will be dedicated in memory of, Randy Coopenharve, who was a long-term volunteer, support of camp, and he was the Chair of this special event for many years.

We are raising funds to provide scholarships for children to attend summer camp, which according to our campers is “the best place in the world.”  Camp Jorn YMCA believes that every child deserves the chance to experience the wonder of summer outdoor programming! Our donors are committed to providing this opportunity to children of all ages, backgrounds, abilities, and incomes.

Our event is expected to draw over 200+ golfers and participating businesses will be prominently featured.  Last year the event was a success thanks to the generosity of our donors and businesses like you who donated items for prizes and our silent auction!  Camp Jorn is a 501c3 non-profit (EIN 54-2184387) and your donation will be tax deductible.

It is our sincere hope that you will participate by donating an item to our silent auction or gift bags.  Your donation can be something as simple as a gift certificate to your business or a product we could incorporate in a gift basket.  Some items we’ve received in the past that have gone over well: brewery/winery tours, restaurant gift certificates, hotel and airfare accommodations, spa gifts, sporting event tickets and memorabilia, camping and tailgating gear, museum memberships, or family experiences around Chicago and suburbs, or Wisconsin.
