Description

It’s time to lace up your sneakers for the 13th annual Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer. On September 23 and 24, join participants from across Canada at one of our local walking events or walk where you are to help create a world where bladder cancer is just a memory.

Bladder cancer is one of the most expensive cancers to treat, with a high recurrence rate, yet it receives very little research funding. This year, another 12,500 Canadians will be diagnosed - adding to the 80,000+ currently living with a bladder cancer diagnosis. Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer gives families, friends, colleagues and supporters the opportunity to come together to support and honour their loved ones, and make a real difference.

Toronto’s Walk is expecting over 200 participants and will be taking place on Saturday, September 23 at Wilket Creek Park. I am reaching out to ask you to support our Walk with a donation of merchandise, a gift basket or a gift certificate to be used as a silent auction item.

The benefit to you:

• Recognition as a silent auction sponsor during the event – reaches over 300+
• Recognition on our local walk website – reaches over 140,000+
• Recognition on our social media channels – reaches over 125,000+

With your support, even more Canadians will get the help they need during their bladder cancer diagnosis and be able to recognize the symptoms early enough to improve their treatment and outcomes.
