Description

It’s time to lace up your sneakers for the 14th annual Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer. On September 21 and 22, join participants from across Canada at one of our local walking events or walk where you are to help create a world where bladder cancer is just a memory.

Bladder cancer is one of the most expensive cancers to treat, with a high recurrence rate, yet it receives very little research funding. This year, about 37 Canadians will be diagnosed each day, adding to the 80,000+ currently living with a bladder cancer diagnosis. Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer gives families, friends, colleagues and supporters the opportunity to come together to support and honour their loved ones, and make a real difference.

Toronto’s Walk is expecting over 200 participants and will be taking place on Saturday, September 21 at Wilket Creek Park. I am reaching out to ask you to support our Walk with a donation of merchandise, a gift basket or a gift certificate to be used as a silent auction item.

The benefit to you:

• Recognition as a silent auction sponsor during the event
• Recognition on our local walk website
• Recognition on our social media channels

With your support, even more Canadians will get the help they need during their bladder cancer diagnosis and be able to recognize the symptoms early enough to improve their treatment and outcomes.
