CANstruction is using one can of food as a catalyst for change.
One Can to represent the building blocks of massive sculptures.
One Can to prove that every act of kindness makes a difference.

CANstruction Orange County combines the fun of a design/build competition with an ingenious way to help feed hungry people. Local prominent architectural, engineering, planning, and design firms, and students mentored by these professionals, create phenomenal structures built entirely out of canned food. The structures go on view to the public at South Coast Plaza and ARTIC throughout the month of September in conjunction with the Festival of Children.

The public is encouraged to vote by donation for their favorite sculpture. The sculpture receiving the most donations will win the coveted “People’s Choice” Award. Click below to place your vote today. Voting ends September 22, 2016 at noon. 

Later that evening, we will have an awards gala at PIRCH at the South Coast Collection to bring together all of the teams to receive their various awards.  There we will have a silent auction and raffle to help raise additional funds and add the the evening's festivities.
