Hello,

My name is Andre-Nella Browne, and I am the Program Director of a charity called Urban Squash Toronto, an after-school program combining academics and sports. I am seeking silent auction items for our annual gala (this is our 11th event) and I wanted to reach out to ask if there are any organizations that would consider donating any visits towards the auction.

Urban Squash is an intensive after school and weekend program which supports students in the Jane-Finch corridor. We bus students from 3 local schools to a squash facility at Downsview Park where they are provided with a healthy meal, structured tutoring through a partnership with Oxford Learning and intensive athletic coaching. Students also participate in international tournaments, field trips and cultural events. Since launching in 2012, UST has grown over six-fold and 86% of our graduating students have pursued a post-secondary education (versus 55% in the Jane-Finch community).

Our annual gala takes place on June 22nd, 2022 at the Cambridge Club and hosts 250 people, including several student representatives. This is an incredibly important event as it brings in the bulk of the annual donations that support our charity every year. We would be profoundly appreciative of any support or donations that you can provide.
