Dear Supporter of Public Schools,

The Canyons School District Education Foundation is seeking support in the form of in-kind donations for the online auction at its annual Fundraising Gala. This year's event takes place on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Siempre Utah in Draper.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from major fundraising events, such as the Gala, are funneled directly into Canyons School District students, teachers, and classrooms, providing extra support for our schools' academic endeavors.

We are hoping to raise $50,000 to fund:

•          Scholarships for students at Alta, Brighton, Corner Canyon, Hillcrest, Jordan and Diamond Ridge high schools for students continuing their education who may not qualify for other programs or be otherwise overlooked

•          Non-staff, outside Mental Health supports for students, including crisis counseling

•          Providing basic necessities for students experiencing homelessness, and stocking our food and clothing resource closets for all students in need

•          Teacher innovation grants funding science, technology, engineering, math and language programs as well as arts integration in our schools.  All of these grants expose our students to a more competitive, challenging, and exciting classroom experience.

Canyons Education Foundation makes every effort to extend the value of our donations through donation match opportunities, packaging items to increase the overall value of donations received, competitive bidding on auction items, and maximizing discounts when purchases are necessary to meet specific needs.

Please consider a gift of $50 or more because community partnerships go a long way to helping both students and teachers build a better future.

Our staff is happy to pick up product donations at your convenience or donations can be mailed to our office at Canyons Education Foundation, 9361 South 300 East, Sandy, UT 84070.  Deadline for receiving Gala donations is April 10th.

The Canyons Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Contributions are tax deductible (Tax ID# 45-2603900). In return for your donation, your company will be recognized at the event and your logo will be included in the event programs and marketing materials.  Company name will be included with a description of the item on the online auction app.
