The Auction Committee of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation- Northeastern New York Chapter, invites you to consider becoming an in-kind donor for our 2024 special events silent auctions. The committee works on behalf the foundation to raise funds to support the research that has enabled us to make incredible strides in finding a cure for CF. Sixty years ago, the average life expectancy of a child with CF was five years. Today, people with CF are living well into their 50s and beyond thanks to the support of our donors.

On October 17th, we will host our 3rd annual Capital Sip and Albany’s Finest event. This in-person event attracts over 150 guests and features area restaurants, bakeries, breweries, wineries, and other specialty vendors. Our guests enjoy a festive atmosphere while sampling gourmet delights and festive beverages in support of our efforts to raise funds for CF research. The event also features a silent auction that greatly enhances our fundraising efforts and is very popular with our guests.

Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a life-threatening, genetic disease that affects nearly 40,000 children and adults in the United States. In NY State, there are approximately 1,660 people with CF and 63,000 CF advocates. The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to find a cure for all living with Cystic Fibrosis, so they may live long and healthy lives. The CF Foundation has transformed how the disease is treated and nearly every CF drug available today was made possible because of CF Foundation support. We are driven to find a cure in this lifetime, but don’t have the cure yet. We are still working to fund important research, so that one day CF stands for Cure Found!
