Mount Carmel High School is evolving. Now in its 119th year of educating young men on Chicago's South Side, it is critical to adapt to provide an exceptional, innovative education that prepares students to be men of character and provides the tools to succeed in college and beyond.

Over the past three years, the original school building, built in 1924, has seen the third floor transformed into a 21st century learning center with the second floor to be completed by this fall. The new facilities feature the latest technology to ensure students have the best resources possible to succeed.

The Gala is the premier gathering for the Mount Carmel community to celebrate a rich history while raising critical funds for the Mount Carmel Educational Foundation. These funds will ensure that the cost of a Mount Carmel Education will remain accessible both now and into the future.
