Dear Community Member,

A coat. A meal. A pair of glasses. Simple things like these often stand between a child and their ability to learn. 

Each year, approximately 4,950 students attend the City of St. Charles Schools. While most of our families are able to stock up on the necessities, some will have a much harder time making ends meet. That’s why we’re calling on the support of partners like you to support our Care to Learn Chapter. 

St. Charles Care to Learn provides immediate funding to meet emergent needs in the areas of health, hunger, and hygiene so every student can be successful in school while empowering our school staff and faculty to quickly respond.

I could share countless stories of children who needed support, but here is just one example of how we are making a difference:

The parent of one of our students was in between jobs and was having to choose between paying the electric bill or feeding their children. Care to Learn helped the family with a voucher to buy groceries, and the family was able to put their money towards their utilities. 

We are asking you to consider donating an auction item to help us raise funds to help students right here in our community. Our upcoming gala on Saturday, October 19th, 2024 at Ameristar Grand Ballroom is quickly approaching and we would love your support.
