One of the communities most valued treasures are the elderly and the disabled.  At Golden Age Home, we proudly take care of these treasured folks with great compassion and Christian love.  Our dedicated team of 30-40 caregivers range in age from 18-60+.  While we show our appreciation all year long, once a year we host an appreciation dinner where we give out gifts to these special folks.   This Caregiver Appreciation Project involves you, the Community, and surrounding communities such as Luling, Bastrop, Seguin, Maxwell, San Marcos, and even the Greater Austin Area.

 Golden Age Home is a non-profit 501(C)3, therefore we do not use operational funds to support this project, nor do we ask our residents to provide support.  Instead, we ask the Communities in our service area to thank each dedicated caregiver by giving back with a contribution to be distributed so each caregiver receives a well-deserved reward.

 Contributions are accepted wrapped or unwrapped or can be gift cards or cash.  Most cash donations range from $50-$500, however, any amount will be accepted and greatly appreciated to fulfill the project’s mission of showing gratitude for the sacrifices our caregivers make.  All donations need to be received no later than December 1, 2023 to be distributed on December 7th.
