This will be our 14th Annual banquet. We hold this yearly event to gather money for our organization. We use this to provide monetary grants to individuals struggling with medical conditions. We also support some of the local clinics and hospitals. We are 501(c)3.

Mission: The Cares for Cancer committee was founded in 2006. This committee has diligently worked to raise funding to support those stricken with a medical hardship. In previous years the organization has supplied the majority of its funds to Riveredge Hospice to assist their efforts of providing end-of-life care to those in need. In 2011 Cares for Cancer, Inc. was established as its own 501(c) 3 Non-Profit Organization. With the new status, the organization is now able to open its funding efforts to local individuals struggling with medical expenses due to cancer and other chronic illnesses. Funds are primarily used for the purpose of local grants. Some of the funds raised are also used to benefit CHI Health at Home, Sanford Children’s, Sanford Roger Maris Cancer Center, Essentia Health Cancer Center, Essentia Health Children’s, and other local medical organizations.
