My name is Ashley Barbush, and I am reaching out on behalf of The Forgotten Initiative. We exist to help people support the foster care community through awareness, encouragement, and advocacy and have been doing so for over 12 years. This is done through local leaders (Advocates) currently serving in 50 communities in 26 states, with our national office located in Bloomington, IL.

All of these individuals are in the trenches, serving their communities for no compensation. Many of them are foster parents as well! May is National Foster Care Month (NFCM), a time to recognize that we can each play a part in enhancing the lives of children and youth in foster care. As a way to show appreciation to our 50 Advocates, we would love to gift them with a special treat.

We are looking for a partner who would consider donating a gift card or item to each of these people to bless our Advocates! In exchange, we would love to highlight your company in one social media post on our Instagram to our 17.3K followers. We will also provide you with a donation receipt with our tax-exempt ID for your records. I have attached a copy of our 501c3.
