Hello,

We are planning our annual spring Carnival for Oak Grove Elementary School in Bloomington, MN. Oak Grove Elementary School is proud of our diverse student population! We have more than 30 languages spoken in our homes, host the gifted and talented program and Autism program at our school. We are a Title One school with over 50% of students qualifying for free/reduced lunches.

Our Carnival is our biggest event of the school year! It is a great way for parents, students, teachers & the community to come together and have a fun night. We, the PTA, try to keep the cost for our families low at this event so all may participate. We also host a fundraiser raffle during the Carnival. The money goes towards Carnival related expenses like a bounce house rental, game tickets the PTA gifts to our student body, or prizes. We use the majority of the funds towards programs like Science by Scientist lessons during the school year, fulfilling teacher requests for supplies & books, paying for all 2nd-5th grade students to go on an ice skating field trip, hosting free dinners before PTA meetings, 5th grade graduation celebrations, & more.  This year’s Carnival is scheduled for May 16th. Would you be able to donate towards our fundraiser raffle?
