Junior Auxiliary of Saline County (JASC) is a 501c3 charitable organization founded in 1974 whose sole purpose is to serve the children of Saline County. JASC is focused on enhancing the lives of children through education, service and love. We believe that caring for a child makes an important difference today and for the future. We serve the children in our county through various service projects. Our service projects are entirely funded by fundraisers, such as this event. We do not receive any government or state funding. We can only spend what we make through our fundraisers. Our chapter is made up of about 40 women who live or work in Saline County. We volunteer our time to help those in need in our community.

Some things this fundraiser will help provide include: 1,500 food bags through our Blessings project to kids who are at most risk of going hungry during extended school breaks; education and mentorship for young girls about self-esteem and anti-bullying through our Empower project; needs that arise for our local schools such as hygiene products, lice kits, clothing, shoes, and supplies through our JA on Call project; three secondary scholarships to either college or vocational school through our Scholarship project; and sports equipment for those in need through our Sports Swap Shop project. We offer many other services to the community in addition to the previous list! We can't do what we do without caring members in the community who help support our cause!
