I hope this finds you well. I am writing on behalf of Arizona Language Preparatory Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). We are contacting you to see if you would consider supporting ALP during our 2022 "Carnival" Benefit Auction Event on April 2, 2022. We would be very grateful if you considered donating an item or service to our auction. Both Arizona Language Preparatory (ALP) and the PTO are nonprofit 501(c) (3) entities and all donations are tax deductible. Please read below about our school and why we are raising money.

ABOUT OUR SCHOOL AND THE EVENT PROCEEDS:

Arizona Language Preparatory (ALP) was founded in 2010 and is currently a kindergarten to sixth grade public charter school. ALP offers full immersion in English, Spanish, and Mandarin. Part of ALP’s mission is for students to become fully fluent in each of these languages by the time they move on in 7th grade.

The mission of our PTO is to build a strong community for ALP staff and families, provide enrichment and financial assistance to our school, and promote ALP to the greater community. The proceeds from the Carnival Benefit Auction will help us in our strivings to make Arizona Language Preparatory the best it can be! All proceeds from the auction of donated items are to benefit the students, staff, and community of Arizona Language Preparatory.

In previous years, we were able to raise enough money to assist with classroom renovations to make space for our growing student body. We have allocated funds for our Teacher Fund to help meet the individual needs of our staff throughout the year. And most importantly, the auction has allowed us to buy new technology and chrome books for staff and students. In the next year we will be preparing to move to a larger space, and this year’s proceeds will support that initiative.

2022 BENEFIT EVENT and DONATION INFORMATION:

Carnival is the name of this year’s Benefit Auction. It will be a community event where parents, friends and community members can bid on auction items while enjoying some carnival games, and watch students perform in Chinese, Spanish, and English. The event will be held Saturday, April 2nd, 2022. The silent auction features a variety of items such as gift cards, merchandise, services, as well as larger items such as trips and even vacations! It is also a family affair, with bounce houses, food trucks, face painting, school art show, craft tables, and movie night under the stars.
We would be honored to have you as a donor and/or sponsor. Event sponsorships allow us to enhance the event while directly reducing the cost of the event, which in turn greatly increases the amount of money raised for ALP by donations.

Whether you choose to be a sponsor and/or donate a product for the auction, your business will be recognized on ALP social media and donated items will be displayed for bidding during our silent auction and during our online bidding. This event is the final opportunity to view and bid in person or online in our silent auction.

We are happy to provide a tax-deductible donation receipt letter with the PTO’s tax- exempt ID number.
